Adam M. Bowman, M.D.
Dr. Adam Bowman, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He manages a wide variety of medical and surgical eye care. These include cataract and refractive surgery as well as new treatments for macular degeneration.
Dr. Bowman attended the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where he maintained an academic scholarship and graduated in the top 3% of his class. He was one of five students to be inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society his junior year. He completed his specialty training at the University of Virginia. As Chief Resident there, he enjoyed directing the comprehensive eye clinic and teaching other residents. Prior to medical school, he attended Brigham Young University, where he was a University Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Bowman is educated and certified on the latest technology and techniques. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Utah Ophthalmology Society, and is currently serving on the executive board of the Davis County Medical Society. Dr. Bowman is a great teacher and has written many articles and taught several ophthalmology seminars.
Dr. Bowman enjoys playing golf, basketball, and running. He has completed 2 marathons and 4 half-marathons. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah. He lives in Layton, Utah, where he and his wife are raising their 4 children. Dr. Bowman loves being an Ophthalmologist, and looks forward to taking care of his patients for decades to come.
